It doesn’t sit well with me
Digital Art
Created in response to the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in 2021—and the heartbreaking news footage of people desperately surging toward airplanes to flee—this work captures a visceral state of confinement and struggle.
A dark, viscous sphere continuously shifts and pulsates from within, embodying a silent, relentless urge to break free from an unyielding shell. It reflects the fear of being trapped within forced boundaries and the desperate search for an opening toward freedom—a form eternally altering, yet bound to its own solid void.
