Unrested Seats is a series of sculptures that transforms abandoned street chairs into portraits of human emotion. By treating each chair like a body, I use broken wooden sticks to represent the emotions we carry inside—like suppressed anger or hidden tension. By taking away the chair's function of rest, the project exposes the restless states that often stay hidden beneath a calm surface.

The chair appears open and outward-facing, yet at the same time overloaded and restless. The structure of the seat surface evokes a pulsating energy pushing outward. Extrovert represents an emotional state in which expression and tension coexist simultaneously.

The seat surface appears compacted and aggressive. The upward-pointing elements create pressure and resistance, making sitting impossible. The chair refers to suppressed anger that remains stored within, unable to be released.
