Connection is an ongoing series of paintings and drawings that explores connection and relationship. Each work begins with points placed randomly or intuitively, which are then connected to one another, allowing different forms to emerge. The points symbolically represent people.
Although the initial method is similar, each composition develops uniquely through the way the connections are formed. The works reveal how relationships shape form — visible, yet never fixed. Connection makes something tangible that usually remains unseen: connection as form.
Part of the series consists of drawings on envelopes. Here, the envelope functions as an early symbol of communication and connection between people. Each envelope carries its own structure, an individual form of connection. Taken together, they form a collection that points to a shared, unconsciously shaped network — a kind of collective connection.
