Medium: Discarded reflectors of ceiling lamps
Size: 370 x 250 x 130 cm
Created for the Light Festival in Essen, this large-scale hanging sculpture transforms discarded ceiling lamp reflectors into a poetic installation. Through the dialogue of light, digital projection, and a water-filled mirror beneath—symbolizing life—the work reimagines abandoned fragments as a meditation on rebirth, renewal, and transformation.

Unrested Seats is a series of sculptures that transforms abandoned street chairs into portraits of human emotion. By treating each chair like a body, I use broken wooden sticks to represent the emotions we carry inside—like suppressed anger or hidden tension. By taking away the chair's function of rest, the project exposes the restless states that often stay hidden beneath a calm surface.
Medium: Aluminum, LED light
Size: ≈ 100 * 100 * 250 cm
This work transforms discarded reflectors from old fluorescent lights into entirely new sculptural forms. What was once industrial waste is reimagined and brought to life with color, reflection, and light, inviting viewers to see the hidden potential within forgotten materials

This piece was created from leftover wood at ROST furniture factory, where I was working as a designer. Using discarded fragments, I explored form and structure through model-making — turning industrial remnants into sculptural studies.
